Championship Racquetball

The Florida Racquetball Association will conducting a special meeting on 10/3/2010 to tackle the new issues on
Tournament Sanctioning. This meeting was cancelled due to car troubles for Randy F.. A new meeting time has
not been scheduled to this date.
No new updates here as the FRA has made all their meetings private
and do not allow memeber during there board meetings. (Not supprising they do not want members to be informed
about what goes on anymore).
IRT RULE CHANGES FOR 2010-2011 SEASON:
The following rule changes take effect at the start of the 2010-2011 IRT season:
I.
Two Serve Rule - Player has two (2) chances to get the serve in play.
II.
Ten Second Rule - Player has ten (10) seconds to put the ball in play after the
referee calls the score. Referee is to call the score at the end of the last rally.
If the court is wet, referee to call the score immediately following the court being in
safe condition.
III.
Arguing Skips, Double Bounce, Short or Foot Faults - At no time may a player
question or argue skips, double bounce, short or foot fault calls.
IV.
Hitting After the Rally - No player shall hit the ball after the rally has ended.
Racquetball On WII:
Deca Sports 3 will include ten different sporting event:
springboard diving, volleyball, giant slalom, racquetball, air racing, kayak slalom,
lacrosse, log cutting, half-pipe and fencing. A multiplayer component has been included,
both with local and online features. Four players will be able to compete in each of
these events in the same living room.
